ATM - Interface Design

This project explores the UX and UI design of an ATM machine interface, developed as an academic project focused on complex systems and user autonomy.ATM machines are network-connected banking devices that allow users to perform essential financial transactions independently, 24/7, without in-person assistance.The proposed interface supports core functionalities such as cash withdrawal and deposit, balance inquiries, account transfers, bill and service payments, PIN management, and other essential banking operations.The project involved a full UX/UI process. On the UX side, I developed the information architecture, user flows and interaction diagrams to ensure clarity, efficiency and intuitive navigation across multiple transaction paths.On the UI side, I designed the visual system and interface identity, prioritising accessibility, readability and ease of use within a constrained and high-responsibility environment.The proposal was developed for a fictional client, Banco Unión, including a tailored visual refresh for this specific product.The resulting interface is minimalist, clean and functional, designed to reduce friction, guide users confidently through each step, and offer a comfortable and innovative experience within a traditionally rigid system.
